Westhoughton Mark assist Peace Craft Lodge

When Brian Sharples of Westhoughton Mark Lodge, approached the Mark Charities along with Peter Coates and told them of the desire of a local 'Reflections Group' at Orrell Old Barn, to obtain a defibrillator the Mark Charities decided to get involved.

Brian, who is the Master of Peace Craft Lodge, was involved with a fund raising race night held by the Craft Lodge, which raised £300, to fund the purchase but when a shortfall in funding was discovered the Mark Charities stepped into make it good.

Stephen Ward, who is pictured below left with his wife is a member of Peace Lodge and the Reflections Group.

The defibrillatior was presented to the group in the presence of Peace Lodge Secretary Paul Simpson and Group Charity Steward Gary Smith, by Peter Connolly and Howard Emmett.
